The Gathering is community& a community that rises out of the main stream to create interactive experiences that nurture life, spirituality, meaning, and truth in the context of relationships. 

Each Café is created with a specific theme in mind, expressed and interwoven through the use of live music, media, art, the spoken word, and interaction. 

Most months will highlight a live band, whether its our cutting edge house band, independent bands from around town, or guest bands passing through.

Most 1^st comers are known to come back again within each season (Sept-May).

Come to the next gathering café

Each night resembles a café in that you& take seat, order from a variety of gourmet desserts and coffee, and pay at the end.  However, since we're non-profit and volunteer supported all the profit goes back into creating future experiences.

OUR STORY 

The Gathering Café started with a hand full of people in January 2001 in a church basement (imagine that?) in Lachine, QC.  Within 18 months it grew and moved into a downtown space on St. Catherine St. where it continued to draw diverse crowds from all over the city until May 2006.  It saw peak attendances of over 100 participate in its creative and inspiring experiences.  In January 2007 we moved west and re-launched in Dorval and our presently still there.
